Yes, I know a lot about their problems and evil deeds. I maintained 3 Makerbots at the library, and it kept me pretty busy for a while. Eventually I got all of the nuts and bolts tightened down and they worked perfectly.
Thingiverse is a big problem. It's a global showroom for your designs, and yet anyone can copy them without paying you a dime. PLUS, Makerbot was patenting (stealing) designs!
The replaceable extruder was a great idea, they just didn't perfect it first. I would love to have a machine that could load different work heads automatically. Plus sensors that prevented filament failures.
